Renting

The movie renting experience has changed extensively over the past several years. In “the old days” we used to have to drive out to the local movie rental shop, pick up a one or more videos, pay for them, and then have a day or two to bring them back, depending on how new they were.

Back then, it might not have been such a big deal. We were happy that we were able to see a movie without paying for a high priced movie ticket or purchasing the movie altogether. It wasn’t until we saw how the internet could change things did we start to see how awful the current system was.

Today, we can rent movies from the store, rent them online, download, or mix and match. When we look back and see how far the movie rental industry has come, we can see how much better it really is now.
